Many fans of the super eagles of Nigeria are calling on the Nigerian football federation (NFF) to sack coach Gernot Rohr because the team is not performing very well under him.

Sacking him means that a new coach will be hired to manage the team. But who are the coaches that could replace the Rohr if he is sacked? Here are 4 coaches who could replace Gernot Rohr as the coach of Nigeria if he is fired.

1 – Sunday Oliseh: This is one of the Nigerian football legends who are also performing well as football managers. Despite not having any coaching job at the moment, he is still a manager with a very good pedigree. He has managed teams outside Nigeria and he is very experienced.

He coached the super eagles between 2015 and 2016. The team played performed very well under him, so he could improve the performance of the super eagles if he is hired to manage the team.

2 – Hervé Renard: The French coach who is currently managing Saudi Arabia might be a foreign coach, but the fact is that he has managed many African teams like the Zambian national team and the Ivorian team. He could help in grooming the young and talented players in the super eagles team.

He qualified Morocco to the last world cup and he is one coach and go can bring a lot of improvement to the super eagles, he is known for building a very formidable midfield in the teams he has managed.

3 – Emmanuel Amuneke: This is one coach who performed very well for Nigeria’s U-17 team, he won the FIFA U17 world cup tournament in 2015 and he can also perform well if he is hired to manage the super eagles.

He was the one who unearthed talented players like Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze, so he can also bring the best out of them if he is given the chance to manage the senior team.

4 – Avram Grant: This is another foreign coach that Nigeria could hire for the super eagles, he is not new to African football because he managed the Ghanaian national team from 2014 to 2017 and he brought a lot of development to the African team. He can also do so in Nigeria if he is hired.
