The CEO, Phreestyle Sports Limited and a Social Entrepreneur, Mr Shogo Sodunke has implored Osun Babes FC players to plan for a good life after football by saving from the little they are earning and by learning to do somethings while playing active football.
He made this imploration today at the End of the Year/New Year Party organized by the Patron of Osun Babes FC, Alhaji Olayiwola Olafiranye for team.
Mr Sodunke said it is imperative for players to set goals and back it up with action plans in order to have success.
” As footballers, you need to have excellent action plans in order to achieve your set goals and you need to move with people who can have positive effects on your lives.”
” As footballers, you must have something to fall back on after playing active football. Hence, there is the need for you to plan for your future. There are lots of works you can learn such as photography, make up, baking among others.”
” As Osun Babes players, you have to work with your teammates, technical crew and other Officials of the team to gain promotion back to NWFL.” Concluded Sodunke.
In his own exhortation, the Patron of Osun Babes FC, Alhaji Olayiwola Olafiranye charged the players on good conduct and admonished them to work tirelessly to secure promotion for the team.
Alhaji Olafiranye also promised to work with the Management of the team for improved welfare packages of players and Officials.
In their separate remarks, the Chairperson of Osun Babes FC, Mrs Tola Usman, the Club’s secretary, Mrs Ronke Ogunbanwo and the Team Manager, Mr Wole Animasahun all took time out to thank the patron for always coming through for the team and for organizing the party.
Alhaji Olayiwola Olafiranye, some days ago presented two pairs of training jerseys to Osun Babes FC.
