As the Startimes/NPFL 2023/2024 league season hit the home stretch, Rangers International football club of Enugu attackers, Kalu Nweke has stated that their team must continue to accumulate enough points if they are to win the league title.
The dazzling Rangers attacking midfielder who expressed happiness with the way the team resumed after the brief break with a resounding three zero bashing of Bayelsa United maintained that the victory means so much to them in the title bid.
“The victory against Bayelsa means so much for us because after the league has been on pause for a while and we coming back and getting the victory is a sign and motivation for us to keep pushing so that we can be able to achieve our target,”
Enugu Rangers as they are called in short by their followers must be at their very best if they are to get a very good result against Sporting Lagos on Sunday. Though, they may not be lacking in support taking into consideration their high fan base in Lagos state.
Rangers is currently topping the Startimes/NPFL league with 60 points from 33 matches played so far. After Sundays match, and despite the result the team still has four more matches to fight for points to boast their chances of winning the league title.
