The Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PC-CNG) has handed over a brand new CNG-powered bus to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) as part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision for a cleaner, safer, and more efficient transportation system.

The handover ceremony took place at the FRSC National Headquarters in Abuja, where Programme Director Engr. Michael Oluwagbemi presented the vehicle to Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed.

The CNG bus is a strategic step towards modernizing Nigeria’s transport sector, reducing carbon emissions, and promoting sustainable mobility. The FRSC will utilize the vehicle to strengthen its operational capacity while championing greener energy solutions.

This initiative aligns with the President’s agenda to promote eco-friendly transportation and sets the pace for a safer, cleaner, and more sustainable future on Nigerian roads. The FRSC’s adoption of CNG-powered vehicles is expected to contribute significantly to reducing the country’s carbon footprint and promoting a healthier environment.
