Tunisian top club, Stade Tunisien signs Nigerian young star, Abata Victor

Top Tunisian clubside Stade Tunisien have completed the signing of John Utaka FC striker Abata Sam Victor on a three-and-half year deal, the club confirmed on Wednesday.The confirmation came via a press release published on the official facebook fan of the club.

Abata born December 9,2000 was on loan to Niger Tornadoes from John Utaka FC,a club established by former Super Eagles attacker John Chukwudi Utaka before the switch.

Speaking at his unveiling, the center forward couldn’t hold back his joy as he appreciated God for the move while promising to give more than enough to help the club win trophies.

“I`m so delighted to sign for Stade Tunisien,one of the biggest club in Tunisian, i`m grateful to God for making my dream come through,i can can only promise that I`m here to give my best and the team win laurels,` he said.

Abata,whose versatility attracted many other suitors is expected to link up with another Nigerian,Alimi Sikiru who was also announced by the club as their new signing for the season.

It will also interest you to know that one time highest goal scorer in the Nigeria proffessional football league Orok Akarandut once played for Stade Tunisien,a football club based in Bardo,Tunisia. Alongside club Africain and Esperance forms the group of three best teams in the capital city.
