Nigeria U-17 Chief Coach, Manu Garba, a man not known for speaking out against the authorities even when things are obviously going wrong has decided for the first time to raise an alarm over how they have been abandoned by the President Amaju Pinnick led Nigeria Football Federation.

The Nigeria U-17 side is due to participate at the forth coming U-17 Nation cup three weeks from now in Tanzania.

The two time FIFA U-17 world cup winner says the Football house is doing nothing to put things in place ahead of their participation at the biannual U-17 Africa football fiesta.

Garba says the NFF is yet to conduct the compulsory MRI test for his players and that this is holding back their preparation. Manu says, without the conduct of the MRI test, he cannot say he has a team yet. The MRI test is expected to cost the NFF around 4m Naira.

Meanwhile, the team has continued their preparation in their own way as the Nigeria Golden Eaglets on Wednesday beat Kaduna based Muntunchi FC 7-0 in a friendly played at the Abuja National Stadium. Two days earlier they struggled to a 1-0 victory over John Utaka Football Academy.
