Ambassador, Dr Maurice Azubuike Odiete, Amb. Dr Olutimo OLUREMI STEPHEN and the two other recipients of the prestigious United Nations Ambassador of Peace awards have expressed great delight for the kind gesture bestowed on them by a very reputable International Organization.
Speaking on behalf of the rest Ambassador, Dr Odiete noted that the United Nations award will go a long way in spurring them to doing more in the promotion of peace in their communities, the Nation and the rest of Africa.
Speaking further with www.theajasanews.com on why the United Nations deemed it necessary to pick them for such prestigious award, he said, “Being able to give Scholarships Diploma and Degree Education to over 1800 Students this few years through NIPEM PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION MANAGEMENT Intl and NIPEM Foundation has been able in no small way to help so many Nigerians and Africans Achieve their longtime Aspirations for Foreign Academic Certifications.
But it’s more Encouraging to be Recognized as well. Good works can only get better when doers are recognized for a work well-done.
“It’s NOTEWORTHY that United Nation Peace Agenda cut across all Religious in the world. I therefore Promise to use my new Status to harmonise the various Religion to Champion the Cause of Utmost Peace in Nigeria, Africa And the Diaspora.
“At this point in time when the World need Peace more than ever, I think all we need to do is to use our immediate Resources to Promote Mass Education and Social Awareness that is capable of promoting Sustenance in intercultural, Spiritual and Moral Support to the masses.
“We will see how we can connect with the Religion and Education Sectors across the globe to incorporate with the Government to ensuring there’s a common ground and standard where Mutual Peace can be Sustained for Global Development and Progress across all Societies.
“At this juncture, I think the best place to start with is where I am right now, which is Lagos State, and maybe Delta State and the Niger Delta Areas, of course the North Western of Nigeria and the rest of the World will be our focus.
“Personally, I will Solicit the Patronage and the Scholarship Support of NIPEM Professional Education Management Intl to increase her Mass Education Scholarships And Employments Support to be readily be made available all over Nigeria and Africa, I believe the Core Values of Education And Employments Opportunities in the Society like Africa will go a long way not to only improve but Promote Peace across the Globe.
“Once Again, I really want to commend this Huge Honour and Privilege accorded to us by the” Global Forum for Peace, Justice And Human Right(UNITED NATION CONSULTATIVE) Department of Economic And Social Council. This is a Formidable Task.
“We Promise to Utilize our Status to uphold all United Nation Peace Agenda,” he concluded.
