A graduating female student of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Peace Ufuoma, has reportedly been ordered by the school authorities to rewrite all exams from 200 Level.
Peace became a person of interest after a video celebrating the end of her final exams while wearing a shirt with the inscription “aggressive malpractice brought me this far,” went viral.
Peace is a direct entry student from the department of Microbiology.
UNIBEN in a statement said the decision to probe her results was taken at a meeting held on July 13.
The school management is of the opinion that Peace Ufuoma be used as a scapegoat to tell every student of the University of Benin that examination malpractices are not allowed within her walls.
