Veteran Nigerian Table Tennis star, Segun Toriola has revealed that he will call time on national team duties after the 2020 Tokyo Olympic games in Japan. The seven time Olympian gave the hint while speaking exclusively to the www.thajasanews.com
The former Argentan Bayad of France player hinted that he will make an eight appearance at the Olympics before he will call it quit with the national team but however stated that he’s not ready to throw in the towel on his professional career just yet.
“Am trying to qualify for the next Olympics to play eight Olympics, after that i’ll quit from the national team but not on my professional career, just the national team.
Toriola who won gold in the men’s singles of the 2018 edition of the national sports festival in Abuja will compete with other players within the African region for a spot in next years Tokyo Olympic games in Japan.
