Popular Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Yomi Fabiyi, has taken to his verified Instagram page to mock the Theater Arts and Motion Picture Practitioners’ Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) for banning him as a result of his recent controversial movie, Oko Iyabo.

Yomi Fabiyi made a video of himself singing that the Association of Nigeria Theatre Art Practitioner (ANTP) is for everyone and he is a member.

He went on singing and making jest of TAMPAN as it appears he is not bothered about the recent ban placed on him by the association.

TAMPAN released a press statement on Friday as the body announced that they have indefinitely suspended Yomi Fabiyi for gross professional misconduct and unethical practices.

TAMPAN also stated that the co-director of Oko Iyabo movie, Mr Dele Matti, has admitted his guilt and he has shown remorse but despite this, the Ethic, Conflict and Resolution Committee have suspended him for three months.

Here is the press statement released by the Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Practitioners’ Association of Nigeria concerning the ban placed on Yomi Fabiyi.
