Popular Nigerian singer, Davido has gone viral as he donates 250 million naira to orphanage homes across Nigeria.
The singer made this known in a statement dated Friday, 19th of November 2021, and released on Saturday, November 20, 2021.
Davido received a total of 200 million naira from friends, fans and colleagues as part of the 100 million naira challenge he started two days ago.
According to his statement earlier today, Davido said; “We rise by lifting others”. He is adding 50 million to the donated 200 million all of which will be donated to charity.
In addition, The singer also revealed that he intends to do a fundraising every year to celebrate his birthday and give back the donation to the poor.
