Why i stabbed my daughter to death – Woman narrates

A 45 year old woman identified as Kafayat Lawal has narrated how she allegedly stabbed her daughter to death after she spent more than three days without returning home. In an interview with The Punch Newspaper, Kafayat has stated that she wanted to beat her daughter after she committed the offence for the first time but her neighbours begged her to forgive her which she did.

However, four days later, the daughter repeated the same mistake and stayed in her boyfriend’s room for about 3 days. She was provoked by her action and when the daughter returned home, she started beating her. She mentioned that she did not know when she used a broken bottle to stab the girl, a situation that led to her death.

Kafayat added that she took her to the hospital for treatment but unfortunately, she died while on admission. Kafayat begged the police to forgive her because according to her, she did not kill her daughter intentionally. She mentioned she did not know when she used a bottle on the little girl.
