Some women may experience leakage during intimacy with their partner. It is important to know that some women who urinate during intimacy, may be experiencing female discharge during orgasm. According to a research, some people believe that it is only urine that is released during intimacy, while some belive that the paraurethral glands in the female private organ, creates a fluid that is similar to the male discharge formed in the prostate. The paraurethral glands found in a woman is also referred to as skene’s glands. The skene’s glands is responsible for giving out a whitish fluid, during intimacy.
Why some women may urinate during intimacy
Some women urinate during intimacy as a result of incontinence, and it happens unintentionally. Some women may experience urine leakage during intimacy, when they want to release a discharge. When a woman is stimulated during intimacy, it can put pressure on her bladder. When this happens with weakened pelvic floor muscles, the pressure can cause stress incontinence. Urinary incontinence can be divided into two, and they are stress incontinence and urge incontinence.
Urge incontinence
Some women may have a sudden urge to urinate, and it is reffered to as urge incontinence. Urge incontinence is caused by the involuntary contraction of the muscles, in the bladder. This can be a sign that you have an overactive bladder.
Stress incontinence
Stress incontinence may happen, when an activity puts pressure on your bladder. This can also happen when you cough, laugh, carry heavy objects or engage in intimacy.
The following can cause a woman to be at risk of incontinence:
1. Pregnancy
2. Obesity
3. An infection that affects your lower urinary tract.
4. A woman who has nerve damage.
5. A woman who doesn’t have the ability to move freely.
6. If you once had a surgery in your urinary tract.
