Madam Akor Josephine collapsed at the Mararba Polling Unit.

After spending so many hours at the queue waiting to carry out her civic responsibility, a woman, madam Akor Josephine collapsed and was rushed to the Mararaba medical center by one of the journalist, Amar Ignis of Radio Nigeria who was there to monitor the election.

Speaking with www.theajasanews,com, Ignis stated that while monitoring proceeding at the venue she observed that a woman suddenly fell down and collapsed apparently exhausted from the long wait on the queue .

He noted that he and some other good Nigerians rushed to her and helped in taken her to a medical center very close to the polling unit.

The Radio Nigeria Reporter however said as of speaking with us doctors were already attending to the woman praying that the woman survives.

The polling Unit suffered serious delay before materials for the election arrived the venue. As a matter of fact election actually started at exactly 1pm

Thousands of voters had arrived the Mararaba polling unit 008 unit as early as about 5.30am but had to wait for about seven hours before they could begin to cast their votes.
