Xenophobia: South Africa begins move to reconcile with Nigeria

After several weeks of tension between South Africa and Nigeria, the South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa, has has began the move to reconcile with Nigeria by tendering an apology to Nigeria over the xenophobic attacks in his country.

Two special envoys from South Africa tendered to an apology on behalf of the government and people of the country to President Muhammadu Buhari at the state house in Abuja on Monday.

A meeting between Buhari and Radebe has just ended at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
