Super Eagles foreign technical adviser, Genort Rohr has expresses uncertainty over the future of the former Chelsea Fc of England midfielder, and team captain, saying he is not too sure if he still wants to play again for the Super Eagles.
Speaking with www.TheAjasaNews.com, Rohr noted that the player silence about when he intend to return has put him in a very difficult position.
The Franco-German Coach submitted his plans for this year’s Africa Cup of Nations to the Nigeria Football Federation in December last year where he did a detailed program for preparations and participation in the AFCON finals this year.
In the program Rohr demanded for a certain numbers of players to be invited for both the last AFCON 2019 qualifier against Seychelles and hosting the Pharaohs of Egypt in an International friendly all slated for the Stephen Jessi Stadium, Asaba in Delta State come March.
“We don’t know yet when or if Obi Mikel wants to join the Eagles”, Rohr said without any further details.
