The Super Eagles of Nigeria secured the maximum three points in their opening match of the 2019 Africa cup of Nations in a match played at Alexandra, Egypt.
Super Eagles only goal has come through the foot of China based, Odion Ighalo in the second half of the match that saw the Nigeria team struggle to impose themselves against the least rated team in the tournament.
Though, before the match, most of the Nigeria players were hit with a mysterious sickness that obviously affected the starting line up put forward for this match by team coach, Genort Rohr.
It is expected that the technical crew would have more fit players to select from in their next match.
