Popular Abuja based Sports Presenter, Udeme George has asked former Super Eagles player, Chinedu Obasi to be man enough to either mention the names of the members of 2014 World Cup crew led by Late Stephen Keshi who asked him for money before he can play for his fatherland or better shut-up.

To this end, Udeme has given Obasi 24-hours to show evidence or name the culprits saying, players should stop rubbing the name of our coaches in a mud.

According to him, “I think we need to address this issue now, because media has been awash with different allegations leveled against backroom staff of 2014 world cup in Brazil that was led by the late Stephen Keshi.

“A couple of days back we saw video trending with Obasi coming out to say he was asked to pay money to make the Super Eagles team that went to the FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

“Now we have many of these stories. You hear a player telling you, that they have been asked to pay certain amount of money if they are to make the list, but they don’t say it immediately and they don’t have evidences.

“How can you wait since 2014 to speak up in 2020? The concern now is, Obasi should be man enough to come out and tell the whole world who ask him for money in 2014? we don’t want to make do with cock and bull stories flying around, no,we must fish out the culprits, we must know that these guys are the reason why our football is not moving forward, because they put money ahead of talent. If you don’t have money, they push you out even with your talent, they bring in players who have money and got no talent and we go to the world stage and get embarrassed by superior teams with talent.

“So, Obasi please I am asking you in 24 hours, give us names of those  who were involved in this scandal,we dont just want to make do with allegations, its stories, anybody can come out and tell stories but until you give us names then we will start taking you serious.
“And if you can not be man enough to mention the names of those who were involved in this scandal,  shut-up,  because you cant keep rubbing the names of our coaches in the mud, come out and give us names.” Udeme-Geoge asked
