Super Eagles winger Moses Simon has expressed joy with his opening day dazzling performance in the French league one where he registered his name among the goal scorers.
Their opponent Saint-Étienne started like a house on fire scoring two quick goals before Simon pulled one back for his team, FC Nantes to reduce tally.
His second half display was completely an outstanding performance, becoming a constant menace to the defense line of the visitors.
“It’s better to secure a point than loosing the three points completely. It was a very tough match knowing fully well, our opponent were yet to loose in their last four matches, so they gave us a fight.
“As you can see they were two goals up, before we came from behind to level scores. I’m so excited I scored my first goal of the season in week four , more to come from me as the season progresses, but what is most important for me is team not a personal achievement,” The former Levente fc of Spain winger concluded.
