If information reaching www.theajasanews.com is anything to go by, then serious crisis seems to be brewing in Taraba state football.

Information has it that candidates wishing to contest for the forthcoming state FA elections cannot lay their hands on the election forms.

It was also gathered that the Electoral committee led by Dauda Boino is said to have also claimed that they do not have the election forms with them, saying that since they were inaugurated by the current FA board they have not been issued forms to sell to interested members.

Theajasanews.com.com gathered exclusively that the current FA Chairman, Timothy Pembi is the one behind all the drama, as it is said that it is him who has seized the forms and it is part of his plans to shut out other candidates he considers to be in opposition.

This development is really leading to major crisis in the state football and it is said that several candidates are gearing up for war as they have refused to be shut out from the election.

And part of their strategy is to storm the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF office in Abuja to ask them to prevail on the FA Chairman to make forms available to members to buy.

One of the candidates who did not want his name on print said if the forms are not made available they would head to Abuja to see if the football leadership would help resolve the matter.

“We really wish the FA Chairman would see reasons and make forms available to the Electoral committee to sell to members. And we also pray the NFF leadership prevail on him too to release the forms.

“If after going through this processes and the man refused to bulge then we will be forced to take another action. This is not a private property and no one person has the right to deny fellow citizens the right to participate in an election.

“If the FA Chairman thinks he is popular to win the election why hide the forms? This is a sign of fear and it should not be condoned,” he concluded.
