Dana Cup: NDDC to bankroll Sia-One Soccer Academy’s trip as Siasia hails Brambaifa

The Acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Prof. Nelson Brambaifa has come to the rescue of the Dana Cup football competition bound Sia-One Soccer Academy as the Commission agreed to bankroll the trip.  

A very happy Sia-One Soccer Academy’s Founder Samson Siasia said that all is now set for the teenage players to hit the competition venue when they get their visas on today (Monday) while thanking the NDDC boss Prof. Brambaifa for helping the youths of Niger Delta states in actualising their dreams.   “The NDDC boss Prof. Nelson Brambaifa has come to our rescue. He has agreed to release funds for our team to participate in this year’s Dana Cup football tournament in Denmark”, an elated Siasia told www.adantesports.com.ng.  The former Super Eagles Head Coach also disclosed that “Prof. Brambaifa’s resolve to empower the youths of the Niger Delta states through sports and also to bring them together to realize their potentials through sports encouraged him to accept to sponsor the Academy’s trip to Denmark for the Dana Cup football competutuon”.  Siasia therefore used the opportunity to thank the NDDC boss for his genuine interest in youths development and empowerment in the Niger Delta states and his resolve to ensure peace reigns in the region.  “The Academy and most especially the young players aspiring to participate in their first ever International football competition are very grateful to Prof. Brambaifa for his magnanimous and genuine interest in youths development and progress in the Niger Delta states.  “We are now confident and happy and the players have promised to do well n the Dana Cup competition to make Nigeria proud since the Academy is representing the country in the International competition.  “We are now waiting for the Embassy of Denmark in Abuja to release our visas today (Monday) so that we can embark on the journey”, Siasia disclosed to
