Former football star, John Fashanu has opened a brand new sporting facility in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The facility which is located at Sun City estate in Abuja not only has a football playing pitch but boast of other facilities for other sports.
Speaking with www.theajasanews.com, Fashanu noted that the facility will be used to teach on-on-one football to prospective students of the Academy, alongside Marshall art.
“I will be taken young kids on marshall arts, of which you know that I have four different Black Belts of 16 year of training, while i will also be training the kids on football.
” It is our way of trying to give something back to the society. Already, we have sponsors who has promised to pay for 5 young sports men or women who would like to start training there very soon. So, it’s not about who has the most money,” he said.
“Fash, as he is fondly called by his admirers revealed further that the facility has already opened for operation.
” We are already officially opened for business, so, it is not the issue of people waiting for us to open. So, whoever is interested in joining us can come over.” he concluded.
