The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) on Thursday unveiled its new Safe Wheel magazine at the Corps Headquarters in Abuja, reaffirming its commitment to promoting safer highways and strengthening Nigeria’s logistics value chain.

The publication, themed “Renewed Hope for Road Safety: Driving Safety and Logistics as Catalyst for Economic Development,” highlights the Corps’ strategic efforts to reduce road crashes, enhance transport efficiency, and support national economic growth through safer mobility systems.

The event drew several dignitaries, including top government officials, transport sector stakeholders, members of the diplomatic community, security chiefs, and representatives of transport unions, all of whom commended the FRSC for sustaining advocacy and public enlightenment through quality publications.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, the Corps Marshal described the magazine as a vital tool in educating road users, documenting safety interventions, and inspiring a culture of responsible driving nationwide. He noted that improved logistics and safer roads remain critical drivers of economic stability, trade facilitation, and national prosperity.

Guests were also treated to a vibrant cultural display, showcasing Nigeria’s rich heritage and adding colour to the ceremony. Performers thrilled the audience with traditional dances, symbolizing unity and celebrating the Corps’ longstanding engagement with communities across the country.

The Safe Wheel magazine is expected to serve as a knowledge resource for policymakers, researchers, transport professionals, and the general public in advancing the national conversation on road safety and economic development.
