Nigeria National League side, FC Taraba of Jalingo played with a rejuvenated spirit when they took on FC Zamfara in an NNL match played at the Jolly Nyame stadium on Saturday.
Spurred by the support the newly elected Chairman of Taraba state Football Association, Sanusi Mahmud Muhammed gave to them the boys responded by thrashing visiting FC Zamfara by three goals to nothing.
The vibrant FA Chairman who had maintained that he was going to make FC Taraba his priority was said to have highhandedly sponsored the match.
The FA Chairman had told www.theajasanews.com before now it pained him so much to see the unfortunate condition the only professional league club in the state was going through, stressing that it is for reason like this and others that motivated him to gun for the state FA Chairmanship position.
You may want to recall that FC Taraba had in the last few years and under the former FA Chairman been leaving like an orphan with which has contributed to the team finding it absolutely difficult winning matches.
But with the coming of the newly elected FA Chairman, the team is certainly on their way to reaching new heights and most likely returning to their glorious days.
