Former Super Eagles attacker, Obinna Nsofor has showered encomium on the current Super Eagles squad for recording two straight wins at the ongoing Africa cup of Nations declaring that Africa football is getting tougher by the day.
In an exclusive chart with theajasanews.com, the left footed striker who is now a citizen of Italy admits that the confidence level of the team is so high which he said is a strong factor going for them in the tournament.
Nsofor also noted that the number of young players in the team is indeed another thing working in their favour in the tournament, stressing that their hunger for success is what is driving them.
“The game against Burundi was a good one. They played very well. The most important thing in every tournament is to win your first match, which they won. It is that confidence they took into the second match and it paid off for them,’
“I am wishing the boys all the best as they progress. I know of a fact that Africa football is difficult and no longer a child’s play, it is tough. But all same I wish them the best,” he stated.
