The Grand Patron, Nigeria Youth Organisation (NYO), Engr. Femi Soetan, has congratulated the Chairman, Board of Trustees, Dr. Rotimi Olulana, the National EXCO and entire Members of NYO for the release of the National President of the Organisation, Amb. Abdullahi Abubakar Wali, from the hostage of Kidnappers after three weeks of captivity.

It is painfully recalled that the National President of the Organisation, was kidnapped on his way to Kaduna after a rigorous National Assignment to Empower Nigerian Youths, nearly three weeks ago.

It will be recalled that the National President has recently called for the establishment of the National Youth Development Commission (NYDC), and Skills Acquisition Training Centres (SATC) across the Thirty Six States of the Federation and the FCT, towards finding amicable solutions to youth restiveness in the country.

The Grand Patron commends the efforts of all highly placed Nigerians who played vital Roles to get him released, in particular, the steadfastness of the National Deputy President, Amb. Oluwatoyin Ogunsola, the Secretary General, Comrade Duke Alamboye-Kitchener, National EXCO and Zonal Leaders.

In his words, ” I commend the efforts of the Security Forces, especially the TerrorrPol, who led me and the Vice President, North Central Zone, Comrade Austin Akubo, to the scene where his car was in custody of the Mobile Police Force, 17 Kms before Kaduna City to make enquiries and efforts towards his safety and rescue.

Engr. Femi Soetan, the NYO Grand Patron, equally appreciates the prayers of Christian and Moslem clerics for praying day and night to spiritually ensure his ultimate release.
