Latest information reaching the news desk of www.theajasanews.com has it that Premier League newcomers, Nottingham Forest is on the verge of signing Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Dennis from Championship side, Watford fc.

Nottingham Forest is said to have agreed a £20m deal to sign Emmanuel Dennis from Watford. However the contractual details are not yet clear.

Watford have accepted a bid in the region of £20million ($24.4m) from Nottingham Forest for striker Emmanuel Dennis, The Athletic understands.

Agreement in principle for the sale of the player have been made, with final negotiations between the clubs ongoing. It is believed personal terms have been agreed.

The Athletic reported on Thursday that Forest had made an opening bid for Dennis long with West Ham United — were interested in the Nigeria international, who scored 10 goals and recorded six assists for Watford in the Premier League last term.

The exact structure of the proposed transfer is unclear but the total fee inclusive of add-ons is understood to be around £20million.

Watford owner Gino Pozzo was determined to get the right fee for his player and Forest have now met the valuation.

Dennis’ former club, Club Bruges, will receive a five per cent sell-on fee but Watford still stand to make a significant profit on a player they bought for £3million.

Forest head coach Steve Cooper has overseen a major summer revamp to prepare for the top flight, making 12 signings so far.

Cooper’s team play West Ham United at home this Sunday.
