As the Super Falcons prepare to participate at this year’s FIFA Women world cup in France, the team first choice goal keeper, Tochi Oluchi has boasted that the team has everything it takes to winning the world cup.
Speaking Exclusively with www.theajasanews.com, Tochi noted that in the round lather game no team is unbeatable, stressing further that as long as the team is properly focused, dedicated and exposed to adequate preparation they stand a chance to do very well at the world cup.
“I have believe with our effort, dedication and hard work the world cup will come to Nigeria. I can’t wait to touch the trophy.
“We just need to have enough concentration and work hard in the games. Thank God, we have had a lot of friendly matches and we have watched our opponents play. We just need to put in our mind and remain focused. No team will beat us. It is the same round leather game we all play, ” She said.
On the appointment of Desire Oparanozie as the new team captain, Tochuku expressed joy, praising the technical crew for the wise decision while also promising to work with her just as they did with the previous captains.
“Desire Oparanozie captainship is a good one coming from the technical crew. We will work with her the way we work with others, try and support her.
“She is an outspoken person, who stands for her teammates. She has self confidence and very upright. I don’t see her slowing down soon,” she concluded”.
