Wada promises to restore Kogi citizen’s battered dignity

The Former Governor of Kogi state, Capt. Idris Wada who is staging a return to the Government House in Lokoja has promised to restore the battered dignity of the citizens of the state if voted back to office.

Wada who expressed concern over the plight and situation of Kogi people declared this while on a courtesy visit to Chief John Odawn, a PDP heavyweight and father in Dekina LGA. He reassured the people of his readiness and passion to salvage the current Kogi situation which is known to everyone across the State and beyond.

He also stated in clear terms that the life of every Kogi indigene matters more than any election, ambition or aspiration while reminding the people that no one has the monopoly of violence.

The former Governor expressed confidence in the people’s support while assuring both women and youths present at the event that he is ready to redeem Kogi and wipe out the misrule currently bedeviling the State and her citizenry.

The former Governor while stating his achievement while in office explained how he focused more on completion of projects he inherited from his predecessor, start-up of projects towards uplifting the economic status of the State as well as human capacity development but sadly, he lamented that the projects were abandoned by his successor at the peril of Kogi State and her People.

The former Governor assured party faithful of his team’s preparedness for the election and task(s) ahead while emphasizing that PDP will ensure that every vote counts and supporters will not be denied of their franchise.

Capt. Idris Wada bemoaned the reintroduced of thuggery in the politics of Kogi which he had zero tolerance for during his administration and at the same time he also noted that his team and the good people of Kogi are not unaware of the plans of perceived opposition to apply violence in the November Governorship election as was witnessed in recent elections in the State.
