World Guinness Book of Records’ Ultimate Singing Marathon set for April 22

Organisers of the Ultimate Singing Marathon event under the World Guinness Book of Records have fixed April 22 as the date for the one-of-a-kind event scheduled to hold at the Blake Resort, Garki, Abuja.The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the World Record singing marathon event is a one-of-a-kind experience which is expected to bring together music lovers, aspiring singers, and industry stakeholders for an unforgettable celebration of songs.

Diana Paul, a Nigerian from Cross River State and resident of FCT is attempting to break a singing record of 105 hours to set a new record of 150 hours or more.

Paul told newsmen at a press conference on Sunday that as a song writer, author, girl-child enthusiast and an advocate for goodwill, she applied to the Guiness World Record to set a new singing record which had been approved.

She explained that she was not only attempting to set a new record but also to use the platform as an opportunity to challenge the youths in the country not to give up on their dreams.

“My goal is to stir up the youths to pursue their passion, commemorate the international women’s month and take on feats that promote human existence and peace.

“Music like football brings people together which provides a unique platform for networking, showcasing products/services, and fostering collaborations among participants,” she said.

Mr Henry Ajifoh, the C.E.O of Big TV Space, the Organisers of the event said the Singathorn event is a highly anticipated gathering which would attract diverse audience from various industries and backgrounds.
