Information reaching the news desk of www.theajasanews.com has it that the Minister of Sports, Sunday Dare has ordered the dissolution of the league management company popularly known as the LMC.
LMC is the company currently charged with the responsibility to manage the Nigeria Professional Football League.
The minister was said to have given the order following his meeting with members of the club owners Association of Nigeria at his office in Abuja. The meeting bothered on the current state of the Nation’s League and the performance index of the League Management Company.
At the end of the meeting, it was said to have been agreed by all parties that the LMC had fallen so short of its responsibilities.
The dissolution may signal the return of the board of the Nigeria Professional League which hitherto was managing the league before the emergence of LMC.
